Franklin Newcomers & Friends Club Sets New Schedule for 2023 Meetings

The Franklin Newcomers & Friends Club has changed its meeting schedule to every other month, starting this season. The club will meet in October and December, 2023, and February and April, 2024. Lots of fun activities and outings will continue every month!

October 11 is the first meeting for the 2023-2024 season.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Escape Into Fiction, the cool bookstore at 12 Main Street in downtown Franklin. Light refreshments are served. Although meetings will now be held bi-monthly, activities are still scheduled throughout its membership year October to April.  Members can check out the group’s private Meetup page or public Facebook page for up-to-date details.

The $30/year membership fee gives you access to the club’s Meetup page where you can get detailed info about the meetings and the many activities throughout the year, and the place to sign up. Anyone can look on Facebook for news and updates.

This year, the Newcomers and Friends Annual Craft Fair is set for November 18th at Tri-County High School. This popular event is an opportunity for members to volunteer and work together, help raise funds, and give back to the community.

Whether you have lived in Franklin for years or are new to the community, all are welcome to join.
