The Franklin Veterans Services Office is looking for Franklin Korean War Veterans who would like to be nominated for a Quilt of Valor. A Quilt of Valor is a handmade quilt that is awarded to a U.S. Service Member or living Veteran who has been touched by war. For more information about Quilts of Valor, go to: https://www.qovf.org/

The quilts will be presented to the veterans at the July 5th Veterans Coffee Social at the Franklin Senior Center to coincide with Korean War Veterans Armistice Day which is on July 27th. 

Theresa Perreault, Massachusetts Regional Coordinator for the Quilts of Valor Foundation, will present the quilts. If a veteran is unable to attend the social, Theresa will make arrangements to present their quilt to them at home.
