The Franklin DPW, 257 Fisher St., Franklin, will host a Touch a Truck event on October 15 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. (rain date October 16). The event will feature a variety of various town trucks as well as some food truck available.

The fire hydrant paint winner will be announced during this event at noon.
