September 15 - Tune It Out guitar lessons for Veterans - OPEN HOUSE - 5:30 p.m. - Meet the instructors and other Vets who are learning to play guitar. Weekly classes meet on Tuesdays from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at the Senior Center. No fee ,and guitar experience is not needed. We have guitars!

September 17 - Veterans' Council Meeting - 7 p.m. at the Senior Center. All Franklin residents interested in Veterans' activities are welcome to join us!

September 18 - Veterans Memorial Walkway - Deadline for engraved brick orders for the November installation. Brick order forms are available in the Town Hall and Senior Center lobbies and online at: https://www.franklinma.gov/377/Veterans-Memorial-Walkway

September 18 - U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard's Birthday - Before the creation of the Air Force, the military's flying operations were handled by the U.S. Army on land and the Navy by sea. The history of the U.S. Air Force is an important part of the history of air power in the United States. The official birth date of the Air National Guard as a reserve component of the Air Force is also September 18, 1947.

September 18 - National POW/MIA Recognition Day - A day to remember and honor those Americans who were prisoners of war and those who served and never returned home.

September 24 - Warrior Within Yoga for Veterans and First Responders - OPEN HOUSE - 4 p.m. at the Senior Center. No fee and yoga experience is not needed. Meet our instructor and see if this yoga class designed for Veterans is right for you!

September 27 - Gold Star Mothers and Families Day - A day to honor the families of fallen Service Members.
