Community Choice Power Supply Program Enrollment Update

Beginning July 16, eligible National Grid and Eversource Basic Service customers will receive a Community Choice Power Supply Program consumer notification letter and opt-out card by mail. Eligible customers will be automatically enrolled in the Town’s Standard Program unless they choose to opt out by August 19, 2026.

The program affects only the electricity supply portion of a customer’s bill. Electric delivery service, billing, and customer protections will not change.

Community Came Together for Two Days of World Cup Celebration

The Town of Franklin welcomed the world to the community during two successful days of FIFA World Cup 2026™ Community Watch Parties, bringing together residents, families, and visitors for a fun-filled celebration of soccer and community spirit. The family-friendly event featured live match broadcasts, entertainment, food, and activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere that showcased Franklin’s welcoming spirit and brought the community together in celebration.

Town Welcomes Family to Newly Restored Historic Old South Church 

The Town of Franklin and Old Colony Habitat for Humanity recently celebrated the completion of the historic Old South Church’s transformation into a permanently affordable single-family home. The project preserves the 1856 landmark while expanding Franklin’s affordable housing inventory, and the Marmol family has officially become the home’s first residents.
