Stop by the Franklin Fence Gallery!

Located on the downtown bridge, as well as the fence in front of the Davis Thayer building, the Franklin Fence Gallery is a new public art initiative that brings creativity out into the open—turning everyday fence space into a vibrant, outdoor gallery for all to enjoy. Presented by the Franklin Cultural District in partnership with the Franklin Art Association, this project showcases artwork by artists from across the Franklin area. Installed along prominent fences and public pathways throughout downtown Franklin, the gallery will feature rotating exhibitions by local and regional artists, photographers, students, and community creatives.

The Fence Gallery aims to bring vibrant visual art into the public realm, encourage walkability and exploration, and create new opportunities for artists to share their work with residents and visitors alike. By activating underutilized spaces with creativity and storytelling, the Franklin Fence Gallery continues the Cultural District’s commitment to making arts and culture visible, inclusive, and woven into the fabric of daily community life.
