Memorial scholarship created in honor of teen bicyclist hit
Fifteen-year-old Oliver James Lewis, of Franklin, was lovingly remembered last month after a tragic bicycle accident took the Bishop Feenan High School rising sophomore’s life on June 23 at the intersection of King Street and Interstate 495 North off-ramp.
Oliver’s family has established a memorial scholarship at Bishop Feenan High School, from which Lewis would have graduated in 2029. “Friends, family, and all those whose lives were enriched by Oliver are invited to celebrate his memory by supporting a school that meant so much to him,” it reads, “Your generosity will help ensure that Oliver’s spirit of kindness, friendship, and community continues to inspire Feehan students for years to come.”
