Did you know that the First Universalist Society in Franklin has a labyrinth on its grounds? FUSF congregants built a 7-Circuit Classical Labyrinth in 2008 with the generous funding of a Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation’s Community Spirit 9/11 Mini-Grant. The labyrinth was restored in 2025 by a labyrinth builder and designer at InnateCreations (www.innatecreations.org) to accommodate both the growing trees surrounding it and walkers with limited mobility. It isnow a beautiful 5-Circuit Concentric Classical Labyrinth made of crushed stone.

The Labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool with one path leading to the center and back out. One walks this sacred space with an open heart and open mind. The twists and turns provide for a calming walk or reflective journey.  

In honor of World Labyrinth Day on May 2, the First Universalist Society in Franklin invites you to its labyrinth, listed on the World-Wide Labyrinth Locator., open to the general public from sunrise to sundown. We hope that it will become an important part of your regular spiritual practice.
