Stamp Out Hunger, Fill Empty Bowls for Hungry Neighbors
Stamp Out Hunger is Saturday, May 9, 2026
Attention Franklin: Get ready for the annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive to benefit the Franklin Food Pantry. Franklin Letter Carriers will collect bags of non-perishable donations from Franklin residents on Saturday, May 9, and bring them to the Franklin Food Pantry to help feed our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
To participate, please place a bag of nonperishable donations by your mailbox prior to your normal mail delivery time. Your letter carrier will pick up your donation during their regular route time, or they may come back later in the day once their route is complete. This event takes place rain or shine. For more information, please visit www.franklinfoodpantry.org.
11th Annual Franklin High School Empty Bowls Fundraiser is Thursday, May 14, 2026
The 11th Annual Empty Bowls Dinner and Fundraiser will take place on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 6 p.m. at Franklin Public High School. Come to a simple supper of soup and bread, bid on silent auction items including pottery designed and created by FHS Empty Bowls club members—all to raise funds for The Pantry and bring awareness that “somewhere, someone’s bowl is empty.”
This fundraiser is a great event for the whole family. Tickets to Empty Bowls are $22 for adults, $12 for children (18 and under) and can be purchased at www.franklinfoodpantry.org. Tickets will also be available at the door on the night of the event (cash or check only).
