Franklin Town Hall: Community Highlights & Updates
FY27 Budget Process Underway
The Town of Franklin has released its FY27 Budget Narrative, outlining priorities and financial planning for the upcoming fiscal year. The Finance Committee recently held four budget hearings from April 6–9 to review departmental requests and gather input, marking an important step in the budget development process.
The Finance Committee will take a formal vote on its budget recommendations on May 27, which will then be submitted to the Town Council. In accordance with the Town Charter, the Finance Committee will issue printed recommendations and make copies available at the time of the public hearings. The Town Council will conduct two public hearings on the Town Administrator’s proposed budget before taking a final vote to adopt the FY27 Budget on June 10.
Residents are encouraged to review the budget document and participate in the upcoming public hearings.
