Ariel Elias from NYC was the headliner, opened up by comedian Shane Olesen, former employee of Longhorn in Franklin, for a comedy fundraiser for Franklin’s Temple Etz Chaim held at the Portuguese Club in Milford last month. The event, which welcomed over 125 guests, with auction items and food, raised over $9,000. Funds raised will benefit the temple community as well as the local Jewish community. Temple Etz Chaim is also involved in helping the Franklin Food Pantry, Interfaith Council of Franklin and has supported many local organizations.
