The Rotary Club of Franklin, MA welcomed nearly 100 seniors to a St. Patrick’s Day-themed luncheon held at 1000 Central Park Terrace in Franklin on Saturday, March 14th, 2026. Although the event, originally planned as a Valentine’s Day brunch, had been twice rescheduled due to inclement weather, senior residents of Franklin joined in with good cheer, many wearing their finest green attire.

Harney Crawford Academy students donated a performance of traditional Irish stepdance, and Lee-Ann Barkhouse entertained seniors with exercised derived from her Ageless Grace® Brain Health Exercise Program. 

Rotarian and Co-President Joe Collins created the menu, arising before dawn to prepare vegetable frittata, ham and cheese frittata, roasted potato and his famous French toast among other breakfast favorites. 

Fourteen teenage boys from Franklin’s Lion’s Heart organization helped serve as well as assisted seniors in Barkhouse’s presentation.
