There is always lots to do at the Franklin Senior Center.  Here’s a few events in September: 

Page Turners Book Club: Monday, September 8, 1 p.m. The Senior Center book club is looking for new members. Summer reading was The Optimist’s Daughter, by Eudora Welty, and The Gathering, by Ann Enright. 

Texas Hold ‘Em Instruction: Every Monday at 10:30 a.m., no cash needed to play! Minimum seven participants to run. Beginner and intermediate players welcome!

Zentangle Art Class: Monday, September 22, 1-3 p.m., $25, pre-registration required, fee includes the class and all materials. Minimum 6 participants to run.

Day Trip-Cape Cod Train with Lunch and Downtown Hyannis Shopping: Wednesday, September 10. Bus departs at 9 a.m., returns at approximately 5:30 p.m. $155

Rocky Mountain High-John Denver Tribute Show: Tuesday, September 16, doors open 11:30 a.m. at Lake Pearl, includes baked stuffed chicken or vegetable lasagna.

Friends of Franklin Elders meeting: Friday, September 26, 9 a.m. Public is welcome.
