Fundraiser Online Continues until September

On Saturday, June 7th, 170 young riders aged 2-14 came together to support the fight against cancer in the 19th Franklin PMC Kids Ride. So far, the riders have already raised $37,000, 100% of which goes directly to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. Donations can be still made to the cause through September 1st  at https://kids.pmc.org/franklin. 

Among the young fundraisers were 35 members of the team “The Pedaling Pandas,” a group from the Parmenter School led by teacher Jen Lyons, and 33 riders, “The Broganators,” led by teacher Pat Brogan from the Freeman Kennedy School in Norfolk. Several neighborhood teams also took part, including the “Ice Cream Monsters,” which boasted 30 children.
