On June 21st, St. Mary Parish celebrated Karen Ackles’ 30 years of service to the St. Mary Par-ish Religious Education Program. Parishioners honored Ackles at the 4 p.m. Mass.

After many years of dedication and hard work teaching the children of St. Mary Parish, Karen is retiring. “We wish her much luck and prayers for the future as she enjoys her retirement with her family and friends,” the Parish wrote in a statement. 

Karen has led the St. Mary’s CCD program for thirty years in the Director role.  St. Mary’s notes she has been committed and passionate in supporting the families and children of Franklin through this effort without exception. She has lived and loved this role in our community with amazing dedication, and she will be missed!
