The Franklin Department of Arts, Culture and the Creative Economy will hold an Arts & Culture Symposium on Septmber 18th and 19th, 2025. 

The upcoming symposium (https://www.franklinculture.org/arts-and-culture-symposium) will build on this tradition by providing a platform for exchanging ideas and forming a regional arts organizing cohort. Sessions will dive into pop up programming, cultural planning, and ways to design inviting spaces that drive creative and economic growth. By spotlighting the transformative power of temporary activations and thoughtful design, the event aims to strengthen the region’s cultural fabric and nurture inclusive, vibrant, and resilient communities.

“This year’s arts and culture symposium scheduled to take place here in Franklin is an exciting gathering of people who are interested in the impact the arts can have on a community. The arts can and do make extraordinary impacts on a community’s identity, its sense of pride and add greatly to its economic vitality.
