Help Keep Franklin Beautiful! Earth Day Weekend, April 22nd and 23rd

Franklin’s annual Earth Day cleanup .will be held on Saturday, April 22, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Beaver Pond parking lot. Trail maps with clean-up sites, trash bags, and gloves will be distributed on site. Free tree saplings will be available. Volunteers are needed! All those who wish to register can do so on the Recreation Department online registration (https://franklinma.myrec.com/info/default.aspx) under EARTH DAY 2023
The Franklin Conservation Commission with the Department of Public Works, Department of Conservation & Recreation, and Franklin Agricultural Commission, will also be holding an Earth Day event on that Sunday, April 23 at DelCarte Reservation Area, 459 Pleasant Street, Franklin, (overflow parking available at 337 Pleasant Street and other side streets) from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event, for families and children, will include a woods walk, compost bin signup, vegetation ID, vernal pool exploration, turtle talk, pollinator information, stormwater information and invasive species control information.
