Franklin's Future Leaders have had the pleasure to donate to The Franklin Food Pantry. In August, the pantry truck came to pick up 79 filled backpacks with extra school supplies for those in need. Franklin's Future Leaders will be collecting needed items, listed below, for  November. Please check the expiration dates, as those items with expired dates will be thrown out. Donations given that are not on this list, will not be given. Tina Powderly will be visiting the children on the importance of helping our local families. Also, in November, we will be collecting NEW Toys for the Toys for Tots Program thru the Franklin Police. We also have the pleasure of working with the police department for Toys for Tots as they visit our group, collect the toys and speak with the children about the importance of giving, with a tour of the department and safety rules scheduled in April.

The Franklin Senior Center gift bags will have begun with new blankets or knitted lap blankets for the seniors, along with masks, word searches, pencil, eye glass repair kits, magnifying glasses, hats, mittens and scarfs. Director of the Senior Center, Arielle Doggett, will be visiting our group to speak of the importance of helping our Elders. 

Our current year is filled with local speakers. We are excited to begin. We look forward to our speakers and our new visit to The Franklin Fire Department. We are a 501c3 Children’s Organization
