Explore Sports Broadcasting, Forensics and the Performing Arts at Dean College This Summer

Get a taste of college life while learning more about careers in sports, forensics and the performing arts. This summer, Dean College will offer the Dean Summer Arts Institute and two pre-college programs in Sports Broadcasting and Forensics.
In the Sports Broadcasting and Forensics Pre-College Summer Programs, students will earn college credit as they learn from experienced professionals and industry leaders. They’ll experience unique field trips and behind-the-scenes access to program-specific venues like Gillette Stadium, New England Patriots
Training Camp, radio programs, science labs, police stations and more. They’ll also have the chance to meet one-on-one with a Dean College admissions counselor for advice on the college admissions process.
The Dean Summer Arts Institute offers both a dance and musical theatre concentration. Students in the dance intensive will receive conservatory training in ballet, modern, jazz, tap and related dance techniques taught by world-class faculty, while students in the musical theatre intensive will study acting, singing and dancing with renowned faculty and guest artists, as well as auditioning skills, rehearsal techniques and more.
The Dean Summer Arts Institute runs from July 17 - 24, 2022. For the Sports Broadcasting and Forensic Pre-College Summer Programs, two one-week sessions will be offered: July 24 - July 29, 2022, and July 31 - August 5, 2022. Both residential and commuter options are available.
