Franklin to Mobilize Relief Shipment for NJ Hurricane Victims

The Franklin Police, Fire and School Departments are attempting to collect a relief shipment for our fellow Americans of Monmouth County, New Jersey. I spoke with their Emergency Operations Center this morning. They reported houses are gone, a police station and a post office are "in the ocean." They also have 90% of the county without power. Workers said anything we could send would be greatly appreciated.
We are asking anyone that can help them out to bring a donation to either Franklin Fire Station between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Gallo Moving Co. has offered to ship everything we can collect at no cost.
Items needed include:
Bottled water
Non perishable food
Pet food
New clothing
Personal hygiene items including baby items

Franklin Fire Headquarters is located at 40 West Central St., Franklin.
Fire Station 2 is located at 600 King St., just off Rte. 495, exit 16..

Thank you,
Lt. Mark Manocchio
